Chandos Records have released Fantasia, Works for Trumpet & Organ
Recorded in January 2025, this album from Matilda Lloyd and Richard Gowers represents a high point in their long established duo partnership. The two musicians met at Cambridge University in 2014 and have since performed at venues from Temple Church to the Musikverein in Vienna.
The album has been featured as 'Disc of the week' on BBC Radio 3, and features four newly commissioned works by Roxanna Panufnik, Deborah Pritchard, Owain Park and Richard Barnard.
